In this workshop you will get an overview of JRoR and then do some hands-on coding using it.

Continuing the zeal that Linux User Group had set in the last year, it was nice experience for renewed core team to commence the Fall 2011 LUG Events. The core team successfully completed tasks such as publicity of the event, designing new logo for group, designing and printing flyers, putting up flyers. Result was evident in the show-up for the event.
The start of the event was characteristically informal. Utkarsh and Roopesh introduced themselves to the audience. Utkarsh informed audience about Linux User Group, its motive and planned events.

The “Linux 101 Workshop” will cover the very basic aspects of Linux which YOU need to know! This workshop won’t be “yet another Linux presentation” describing advantages and benefits of Linux. Our primary focus will be to make you understand what actually Linux is, it’s technical aspects which any Linux user should know, Linux commands and usage of some basic Linux based applications and how to troubleshoot some common problems.
